So far we have written about National or International Day being celebrated on 1st to 4th January every year. While searching for any National or International Day on 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th January, I could not find any Day on these dates and on 9th Day of January only one Indian National Day is celebrated to honor the Non Resident Indians and it is called as Pravasi Bharatiya Divas or Non Resident Indian Day. This day commemorates the return of Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the Nation, from South Africa to Mumbai on 9th January,1915. Every year the Non Resident Indian Day is celebrated with a New Theme like "Apna Bharat Apna Gaurav" was used as a theme while celebrating the Day in January 2015.
